Since John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate, I have been trying to understand why she is so popular with so many people and why she has been so effective in bringing energy to the McCain campaign. Ron Hart, a Southern libertarian who writes a column on politics and culture, may have the answer. Hart’s columns are always humorous.
